I’m James, an English teacher and painter from London, living in Madrid.

My interests include consciousness, philosophy and contemplative traditions. Painting is another way of exploring the world: through colour, through form, and through the simple act of paying attention.

This is a home for my paintings, with room to grow into writing and conversations about experience.
